NORTHUMBERLAND -- Serving Northumberland children, youth and their families since 1997, Rebound Child and Youth Services is celebrating its 20th year.

During the two decades, Rebound has expanded its child- and youth-focused services to include mental-health supportive services, literacy and learning help, youth justice diversion, and now Triple P parenting programming through Positive Parenting Northumberland.

The agency takes pride in its accomplishments and invites members of the community to mark the occasion with them Nov. 10 at a 7 p.m. event at the Market Building in Cobourg.

The evening of celebration will include delicious wine and food pairings by Cathryn Thompson of MacKechnie House, fantastic music by the talented Naya Liviah and an amazing silent auction that includes such items as a $500 VIA Rail voucher, a CN Tower tour, and a Veratography photography package.

Rebound executive director Carol Beauchamp said in the press release that they consider themselves fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful families since 1997.

As they mark their 20th year, Beauchamp added, "What a privilege to acknowledge the tremendous commitment of the many volunteers, staff and community partners that make what we do each day possible. "We look forward to the next 20 years, and continuing to develop and grow to meet the changing needs of the children, youth and families of Northumberland."

Tickets are $100, and only a limited number are available. To arrange for your tickets, call 905-372-0007 ext. 223 or e-mail
