Build a Mountain of Teddy Bears for Children of Afghanistan
Miss Teen Canada International, Cassondra Paletta, will be at the upcoming Country Living Show in Brighton, Ontario.
Cassondra, the Ambassador for The Teddy Bears of Hope Campaign for 2008 and the Founder of The Teddy Bears of Hope, will arrive in Brighton on April 23rd and be the VIP Guest of the Brighton and District Chamber of Commerce until Sunday April 27th.
With the aid of The Ambassador of Afghanistan in Ottawa Ambassador Samadd and the Canadian Forces Personal in Afghanistan, Cassondra will be collecting new and used teddy bears and a toonie with each teddy to send to children in Afghanistan in Summer 2008.
Cassondra will also be selling the one of a kind SOLDIER TEDDY BEAR, designed by retired Canadian forces personnel in Nova Scotia. The sale of this bear will also go to help off set costs of the teddy bears being sent to Afghanistan.
