Hockey girls bring Halloween Havoc to Cobourg as WNGHA hosts tournament

COBOURG, ON - The West Northumberland Girls Hockey Association (WNGHA) will be hosting their first annual Halloween Havoc hockey tournament this weekend in Cobourg. 40 teams ranging in levels from House League to Rep, from Novice to Senior will be participating supporting the fact that female hockey continues to grow.

Games will be played in Cobourg at the CCC and Memorial Arena. Locally, the West Northumberland Wild will have 6 teams participating in the tournament.

Teams will be travelling from across Ontario, including St. Thomas, Glengarry, Ottawa, and more as well as local teams from areas such as Peterborough, Lindsay, and Oshawa. The tournament is being held from Friday to Sunday and comes with an array of exciting Halloween themed events such as pumpkin carving contests, costume contests, and more!
