Cobourg man facing numerous charges

A 44-year-old male has been charged with numerous counts of break and enter, and police are looking to identify the owners of the recovered stolen property.

On. Oct. 28, Durham Regional Police investigators in Central West Division, with the assistance of Cobourg Police, executed a search warrant at a residence on John Street in Cobourg. Some of the recovered property had allegedly been stolen during eight break and enters in Whitby and one in Cobourg between Sept. 13 and Oct. 24.

The remainder of the recovered stolen property is believed to have been allegedly stolen between Aug. 4 and Oct. 28 from areas within the GTA and eastward. Some items may have been stolen prior to Oct. 24, 2013.

Frederick Tucker, age 44, of Cobourg faces a total of 15 charges including: Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property. He is currently in custody elsewhere and will be brought to Durham Region to face these charges.
